About Us
We started our journey with Red Boots Ventures in July of 2018 in Panama City Beach, FL. Shortly thereafter our city was pummeled by a category 5 hurricane (Hurricane Michael) in October 2018, causing catastrophic damage from Port St. Joe to Panama City. Our area was completely devastated; Roughly 20,000 people in our area were displaced as a result of the storm which caused their homes to be either completely destroyed or unlivable.
As the dust of Hurricane Michael began to settle, many homeowners found themselves in a housing crisis. Either they had no insurance on their home, or were underinsured; Or they were unable to find contractors to repair their home; Or many who found contractors lost thousands for work that was never completed or subpar; Or homeowners were just too financially or emotionally incapable of trying to restore their damaged home.
During this time we began buying these severely damaged homes in the area. We worked hard to restore them ourselves or make sure they were in the hands of a good home flipper that could. We’re proud to say that during this time we were able to purchase/assign homes which allowed hundreds of our local residents to get the money they needed quickly to purchase a new home, or rent, and be able to move on with their life following this tragic storm..
The years following Hurricane Michael we began purchasing homes of all flavors - damaged; not damaged; homes that needed repairs or a remodel; investment homes from owners that were just fed-up with being landlords; and many homes that owners just wanted to sell AS-IS having to do no repairs to someone they knew would purchase it for the amount they wanted.
Through this journey, Red Boots Ventures (we) have now become known as the people who will buy your home and “do what we say we are going to do”, as you’ll hear repeated in our testimonial videos. If we say we will buy a home - We buy it. And we’ve been able to grant so many the freedom to move on from stressful properties that they own that are keeping them from being able to ‘Live Their Best Life.’
